A recently released Boston Indicators report found that Black and Hispanic residents in Massachusetts are saving far less money for retirement than their white counterparts, perpetuating wealth gaps in the state and across the U.S. Our Director of Marketing and Communications, Roxanna Sarmiento, discussed some of the reasons why and what can be done about it with Boston.com.
“I can only imagine the strain on the state’s economy as people get older and retire,” said Sarmiento. “This is the time to tackle this.”
