Ana Colon is a dedicated event planner, venue manager, and curator with a passion for uplifting the LatinX community. A proud Boston native and mother of two, Ana began her career in 2012 at Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción (IBA), where she played a key role in executing community events alongside the Arts Director, Rental Manager, Gallery Curator, and Arts Performance Manager.
She was instrumental in helping to establish Agora Cultural Architects, a women-owned organization that empowers and promotes the sustainability of Latin American cultural makers in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Under Agora, she also managed weddings and events at Arlington Street Church.
From 2021 to 2022, Ana created a position for herself at the Eliot School of Fine Arts and The Substation, where she developed internal events and built the rentals department. Most recently, she served as Sales Manager at the Boston Center for the Arts, overseeing rentals for the iconic Cyclorama venue.
As Event Producer for ALX, Ana is excited to continue growing, learning, and creating memorable events that celebrate culture, creativity, and community. She is deeply committed to breaking generational cycles and fostering spaces where people feel seen, heard, and celebrated.
